Temptation

We are constantly striving to be in control of our lives, what we choose to do or be is entirely up to us. We can afterwards rejoice in the resulting outcome with dignity or regret.

When we are tempted, we are forced to step out of our comfort zone, or some times we are made to face a potentially upgrading  uphill challenge. It is a normal life activity, a sign we are a contender for greatness.

Temptations are actually opportunities to triumph for people with a stable frame of mind.  Success is usually as a result of a series of activities (process) and is not a singular action (event). When success is achieved in a particular challenge, it is often difficult to identify the sum total of activities or experiences that lead to it, but, we know that past failures play a significant role.

Humans learn from all incidents in life and these experiences become stepping-stones for future success.  Temptations ought to leaves us stronger and better irrespective of the outcome. We  inherently love themselves and will avoid painful or unprogressive experiences as soon as we can.  Temptation reveals our vulnerabilities and should help us understand and better ourselves. Faith in Action

Psalm 130 Vs 5,6
“I will wait for the lord, my soul does wait. And in his word I do hope.
My soul waits for the lord more than the watch man for the morning; indeed more than the watchman for the morning”. (New American Standard Bible)

I am reminded here to prove my faith today:  I have chosen to subdue all negative imaginations, after praying about them and hold tight to my blessings knowing that God surely answers prayers just  like  morning after night.

From these verses, it is obvious the watchman has full faith on his experience, he  watchfully occupies the time as he patiently waits for the morning and hooray! his shift once again is over.
